I'm a research scientist specialized in Bioinformatics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Stages in my career have taken me to the Research Lab at Dynatrace, the Institute for Machine Learning (IML) at the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the Research Institute for Symbolic Computation (RISC), and the Computer Architecture department (DAC) at the University of Malaga. Currently, I am a member of the In-Silico Discovery team at Johnson & Johnson.
My research focuses on drug discovery, reinforcement learning, deep learning, and machine learning in general.
I have published in top AI and machine learning conferences, peer-reviewed journals, and contributed to edited books.
Additionally, I teach the Deep Reinforcement Learning course at Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU)
and collaborate as a lecturer for the Marine and Maritime Intelligent Robotics Erasmus Mundus Master (MIR).
